Twittered

I'm not a hundred percent sold on Twitter. I'm confused as to its usefulness. Actually, I'm confused as to its use. Can someone please tell me what Twitter is for?

And if you are a Twitterer, feel free to come and follow my random thoughts!

I think it's for the same thing that status updates are for on Facebook. :) Don't ask me why either of them matter--although I do enjoy seeing the Facebook updates sometimes, especially when they're funny, but I don't always enjoy coming up with something original myself. I gave up the other day.
See, I understand Facebook's because it's part of an application that has another purpose. Having an application just to trumpet what you're doing at that moment is sort of odd to me. Unless there's a use beyond what I see.
Yup. No clue. I think you can Twitter your Facebook updates, however. I've seen a friend do it. But I have no idea how.
But the real question: Can you Facebook your Twitter updates? And if so, can you MySpace your Twittered Facebook updates?
I feel the same way, Eric. I just signed up for Twitter a few days ago and I'm just as puzzled as you. It does seem redundant for those of us already on Facebook!

Oh well...
At least a blog has some content. Being limited to 200 characters or whatever seems so silly. Like disposable thoughts...in which case, what's the point?
Clearly you don't understand the concept of peer pressure.
What are we peering at?
This whole concept of Twitter is about spouting inane things into cyberspace all day. If I wanted to spout inane things, I'd work on my next book!
