We Have a Winner!

Most of you already know I've been holding a contest to produce a book trailer for my novel, Big Slick. Well, the votes have been counted. I am pleased to announce the winners of the book trailer contest are the good folks over at Boys Blogging Books!

Here is their entry:

Simply fantastic. Original music and everything! I want to thank everyone for their effort and to let Jennifer, a YA librarian from Illinois, know that she has won for posting about the contest! I'll be in touch with both winners by email to talk about prizes!

Hooray! Great trailer and music! WOW!
I know, right? Yay them!
WOW!! That is amazing!
That is simply amazing!!!!
My favorite part is the song.
Then again I am a bit biased.

I can't wait to tell Kurtis we won. He and his friend worked really hard composing the song for this.

He has quite the sense of humor that one does, I am very curious to see what he comes up with for a racehorse name!

Congratulations to you and Kurtis. The final product is marvelous. Even folks at my publisher are impressed! Super duper job!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

Original music?? Dude. You are so lucky.

Yay!
I keep watching it over and over again!
It's so awesome!!!!! CONGRATS TO ALL!!!!!!

WOW!
I'm very impressed!
Isn't it amazing, Barbara? I love what they did with that video!!! I hope all is well with you down there in Suffolk. I really did have a blast with you guys.
I hear that you have picked up an upstate booking after your Suffolk presentation.
I sat on a committee this afternoon and listened to two other librarians from surrounding areas RAVE about your reluctant reader presentation!

Can't wait for your next book!
Best,
Barbara
I picked up a booking? Really? I hope someone tells me where and when! I did do a night at the College of St. Rose, which was a blast. Then I helped organize an event where we hosted Laura Vaccaro Seeger and a few judges from this year's Caldecott and Newbery. Some other surprises are on the horizon as well!
Oh, and thanks for letting me know I'm getting RAVES in Suffolk County! It means a lot!
