Caption Contest, Part 1 of ???

BUG BOY hits stores in a little over three weeks. And here I am staring at a bunch of not-yet-available hardcover copies of it. What's an author to do?

I'll tell you what this author is going to do. He is going to have a caption contest! Now, I'd love to judge your captions (or have a panel of judges) and pick the best one, but that is just way too subjective and time-consuming. Anyhow, I'd love to get these copies out into the world ASAP so I am going to pick a winner at random on 7/6/2009.

Here is the photo you should give me a caption for:

There are 2 ways to win:

1) post a caption in the comments below (one caption per person please!)

or

2) point people toward my contest on your own blog/social networking site outlet and let me know about it here with a link. It's tough for me to track a Twitter tweet, so cut and paste your tweet in your comment, please!

And if you don't win this time around, have no fear. I plan on doing a different contest each week from now until BUG BOY comes out.
